Iris Pérez
Iris Pérez is a Dominican visual artist and professor at theEscuela Nacional de Artes Visuales in Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic.
Selected exhibitions change
In 2015, she exhibited at the headquarter of Univision in Miami. The solo show was titled "Bullying, Grooming and Sexting - un llamado de alerta a través del arte". [1]. In March 2016, she was invited by the Permanent Commission of the Dominican Republic in front of the UNESCO to participate in the collective exhibition dedicated to the International Women's Day. The exhibition [2] was held in the Paris headquarter of the international organization from March 7 to March 18 2016.
Awards change
Iris Pérez artworks were selected in the national biennials of the Dominican Repubic and China. In 2014, her artworks were selected in the V Latino-American Biennial of Bronx at the Bronx Space of Art in New York. In 2004, Iris Pérez was awarded by ARTIADE [3]
Artwork in public space change
The masterpiece of Iris Pérez can be visited in at the church of the Santo Cerro, in La Vega, Dominican Republic. The sculpture monument is titled "Luz del mundo" and was achieved from 2011 to 2016.
