The 'Kim Check' Is a term used in the Fashion Design and Fashion Event industry. It was first coined in 2022 by Jase King, a teacher and international designer, at the International Fashion Academy in Paris, France.
It has been included in the taught operational and organizational planning of Fashion Events, and features heavily behind the scenes at Fashion shows in New York Fashion Week.
The 'Kim Check' is the final check, done by often the designer or Creative Director prior to Models walking the runway. It may also be used more broadly as a general final check prior to performance or event starting.
