April 2016 change

Editors usually do not usually add tags to pages they have started themselves. It is always better just to fix the problems if you can and not tag it for someone else to do. If you find you need more time working on an article, consider creating or editing new articles in your sandbox, then copy to mainspace when you feel an article is ready. But if the article is copied directly to the main namespace, you can use the {{in use}} tag if you need a short time to edit it. Another tag you can use is the {{under construction}} tag for major expansion or revamping of an article. As a courtesy, other editors (including patrollers and administrators) usually give you the time to work on the article without interruptions (and avoiding edit conflicts). The nice thing about using a sandbox is that if you have a question about how to do something or get stuck, you can stop and contact other editors directly or ask a question at Simple talk. This gives you time to wait for someone to reply without holding up the new page process. You can set up one or several sandboxes as subpages to your userpage allowing you to work on more than one at a time. Good luck with your articles. User:Rus793 (talk) 14:37, 22 April 2016 (UTC)
