Thai street food market

Thai street food is a market place all around Thailand where vendors will set up stalls to sell food and people buy to enjoy on the go or directly on nearby tables. This event is set up all throughout the day with many different Thai cuisines and desserts such as Thai popular dishes like "Som Tam" which is a salad made from shredded green papayas top with tomatoes, lime, peanuts, garlic, and chili peppers[1] and "Pad Thai" which is known as the country’s famous stir-fried noodles with any kind of meat such as pork, beef, chicken, or shrimp[2]. They also have popular desserts such as "Khao Niao Mamuang" or mango sticky rice made with a bed of sticky rice at the bottom with a fresh mango cut into slices on top and finish off with a drizzle of sweet coconut milk[3]; these foods are usually served with a small portion or just enough for an individual at a very inexpensive price.

Massaman Curry

There are many Thai cuisines display from noodles to curries, soups to salad, and many sweet desserts. Thai street food has a lot of famous and popular dishes of Thai cuisines such as popular noodle soup: "Guay Teow" which can be made from rice noodles or egg noodles with beef, pork, and chicken stock, sometimes vendors will add wantons which is small dumplings or meat balls to the broth.[4] Thai version of spaghetti and meatballs is called "Pad See Eiw", it's a noodle dish made from wide and thick rice noodles that is stir fry in dark soy sauce with neither pork, chicken, or beef and Chinese broccoli or cabbage. It's a great substitute from pad thai because it's not spicy unless you ask for it on the side which will come with dried chili flakes and for those who's a foodie can also add vinegar to it for a little kick to spice up the dish.[5]A unique dish to try is "Massaman Gai" which is a curry incorporates by Persian influences. This dish is flavored with Cinnamon, Tamarind sauce and sugar, top off with roasted peanuts and bay leaves, it's made with coconut milk, potatoes, and chicken or tofu for vegetarians.[6]

Coconut Ice Cream

Thai street food doesn’t just sell foods or main course foods, they also sell many different kinds of desserts, these desserts can be sweet and be wrap or serve in a very unique way. “Khao Lam” which is Bamboo sticky rice, this dessert is served inside a bamboo stick roasted in charcoal, the inside can have white sticky rice or black sticky rice filled with black beans or sesame. The bamboo gives this dessert a unique taste, this dessert can be cracked open at the top and then pull down each bamboo strips like a flower until the sticky rice can be reached. This dessert price range from as inexpensive as 14 cents US dollar to as expensive as 2 dollars.[7] Thai dessert also included ice cream and being one of the hottest places in the world there is a lot of stalls that sell many ice cream desserts like “Itim Kati” or coconut ice cream. This dessert is made out of completely coconut milk with a soft texture, it’s not so creamy or icy it’s a perfect blend between creamy and icy, it's served in a coconut shell and is as inexpensive as 57 to 86 cents US dollar.[8] There is also a unique dessert that can be found in thai street food, this dessert is called “Bua Loy Nam King” or Black sesame dumplings in ginger soup. This street dessert is originally a Chinese dish, this dish is filled with warm spicy Ginger soup with rice flour dumplings that have black sesame paste on the inside, it’s texture is soft and chewy.[9]
