change- You can do it yourself. Here is what you need to do to close a request as kept:
- Remove the noinclude tags around the {{in progress}} template.
- Change the {{in progress}} template to something like
{{kept|reason}}. The reason can be "withdrawn by nominator", "request created in error", or whatever. - Put your signature right after that template.
- Put the substituted archive top and archive bottom templates at the top and bottom, respectively.
- Move the request to the recently closed section.
- Take the rfd template off of the page that was nominated.
- If you ever do a close of one that wasn't in error, where the discussion was complete and the consensus was to keep, add the {{oldrfdfull}} template to the talk page of the nominated page.
- If the page creator was notified about the request, either leave a note that it was done in error or remove the notification.
