Protecting your identity - name, birth date, Facebook link, address, phone number, email...

Hi, Peterdownunder. Information you post is instantly public and then stored and indexed seconds later by many internet search engines. It can never be deleted. All Wikipedians need to take care of personal information and think twice about posting private details about themselves or others. I have removed your personal information; it is not a good idea to have it listed here. Wikipedia is not a social networking site. If people wish to contact you, they can do this by leaving a message on your talk page, or by using Wikipedia's own email service.

If you ever need to delete one of your own user pages (removing its edit history from view) you can use the {{QD}} template.

Feel free to leave a note on my talk page if you have any questions or need some help. Thanks, Peterdownunder (talk) 23:21, 7 February 2014 (UTC)
