Twinkle

To get Twinkle to work, you'll need to add a few more lines. Currently, Twinkle is being migrated to this Wikipedia. Right now, only the Quick Deletion module is working fully. To use it, add:

importScript('User:EhJJ/twinklespeedy.js');

The rest of the code, I'm still working on. For now, you probably want to use the default code, but you are also welcome to use the code I'm developing (as long as you know it might stop working when I'm editing it). So, you're choice:

My code that I'm still working on:
importScript('User:EhJJ/morebits.js');
importScript('User:EhJJ/twinklefluff.js');
importScript('User:EhJJ/twinklewarn.js');
importScript('User:EhJJ/twinklearv.js');
importScript('User:EhJJ/twinklediff.js');
importScript('User:EhJJ/twinklexfd.js');

OR

Stable code that is not designed for this wiki, but usually works:
importScript('User:AzaToth/morebits.js');
importScript('User:AzaToth/twinklefluff.js');
importScript('User:AzaToth/twinklewarn.js');
importScript('User:AzaToth/twinklearv.js');
importScript('User:AzaToth/twinklediff.js');
importScript('User:AzaToth/twinklexfd.js');

Let me know if you need any further help. EhJJTALK 00:46, 23 April 2009 (UTC)Reply

Hey, I've updated the twinkewarn.js code. To get the latest code to run, refresh your browser with Control+F5 (that usually works). Please let me know if you have any problems with the "warn" function. Also, I've tweaked twinklespeedy to give a {{uw-create1}} if the user talk page is blank and {{uw-create2}} warning if it is not blank. I'll watch your QDs to see if it works properly, but please let me know if it ever stops working or does something weird. Thanks! EhJJTALK 00:12, 24 April 2009 (UTC)Reply

IRC

Seeing as you're a very sociable user, I think you'd enjoy coming on IRC. The server that Wikipedia channels like #wikipedia-simple and #wikipedia-en are on is the server freenode. Depending on which web browser you use, some clients are Mibbit or ChatZilla. Let me know if you have any questions. :-) Meetare Shappy Cunkelfratz! 13:13, 24 April 2009 (UTC) Mibbit is a web-based IRC client that's very easy to use. ;) Meetare Shappy Cunkelfratz! 13:59, 24 April 2009 (UTC)Reply

Re: Welcome to Simple English Wikipedia

Thanks for the welcome template Dylan - congrats, that means you're the one I'm going to pester with my newbish questions! :) I've been editing on enwiki for years, but as dyed-in-the-wool wikignome - I've over 7000 edits, but not a single one was to generate actual article content ^_^" I'm dyslexic, so I feel perhaps the simple side is a better place for me to contribute to article creation. Where do I start? What should I read? What are the main differences between enwiki and simple, both in policy and community? Are there any wikiprojects you think I could help with? Could you mentor/adopt me? Thanks :) ShakingSpirittalk 18:50, 24 April 2009 (UTC)Reply

Any particular reason you specifically chose to mention that phrase in this comment? It would seem it's following me everywhere now...I even saw it spray-painted onto a stop sign today! Inferno, Lord of Penguins 21:14, 24 April 2009 (UTC)Reply

Ah. It's just that...after yesterday and following some events today, I find anything containing that phrase...suspicious. Anyways...:P Inferno, Lord of Penguins 22:00, 24 April 2009 (UTC)Reply
