Val Holten

Australian cricketer (1927-2015)

Charles Valentine "Val" Holten (15 September 1927 – 15 January 2015) was an Australian cricketer. He played five first class cricket matches for Victoria between 1950 to 1951 and 1952 to 1953. He also played club cricket for the Victorian Premier Cricket teams Melbourne Cricket Club (1947–48) and Prahran Cricket Club (1948–49). He was a right hand batsman and right arm medium pace bowler.

Holten was born in Brighton, a suburb of Melbourne, Victoria.

Holten died on 15 January 2015 at the age of 87.[1]
