Warren B. Hamilton
American geologist (1925-2018)
Warren B. Hamilton (May 13, 1925 – October 26, 2018) was an American geologist.[1][2] He was known for his works in geology and geophysics. He described the dynamic and petrologic evolution of Earth's crust and mantle. He worked for the US Geological Survey (USGS) in geologic, then geophysical, branches.
Hamilton died on October 26, 2018 in Golden, Colorado at the age of 93.[3]
