West 4th Street Washington Square is an express station and transfer stop on the IND Sixth Avenue Line and the IND Eighth Avenue Line of the New York City Subway. It is at the intersection of West Fourth Street and Sixth Avenue (Avenue of Americas) in Greenwich Village, Manhattan.
On the Sixth Avenue Line, this station is between 14th Street and Broadway Lafayette Street. On the Eighth Avenue Line, this station is between 14th Street and Spring Street.
This station is used by A, C, E, B, D, F, <F> and M trains. The station is on the National Register of Historic Places.
There are two entrances.
