Wikipedia:Editor review/Kansan

Kansan (talk · contribs) I am new to Simple English Wikipedia but not to Wiki editing in the first place. I want to know how my edits are being perceived so I can know if I'm off to a good start so far. Kansan (talk) 08:17, 15 February 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Reviews

  • You seem to be coming along very well. You work on the articles is appreciated, and I'd like to see more. Vandal fighting is also a good thing, so you might want to apply for rollback in a week or so. Cheers, Buggie111 (talk) 13:40, 16 February 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Questions

  1. Of your contributions to Wikipedia, are there any about which you are particularly pleased, and why?
I am pleased with my completing of the summaries of the last seven amendments in the United States Bill of Rights, and for the article that I wrote on Daniel Johnston. I also have been getting involved with some of the chess articles as a part of I-on's WikiProject Chess.
  2. Have you been in any conflicts over editing in the past or do you feel other users have caused you stress? How have you dealt with it and how will you deal with it in the future?
One user made a comment that I felt was offensive toward the target audience of this site and toward "rednecks". Given that I am from a state that has a fairly high rural population, I feel that that stereotype is somewhat offensive, and I informed the user that I felt his statement was inappropriate, and was told that I should lighten up. I decided that it wasn't worth pursuing that conversation any further after that.
