William Stanley Peart
British scientist (1922–2019)
Sir William Stanley Peart FMedSci FRS (31 March 1922[1] – 14 March 2019) was a British doctor and clinical researcher. He was first to demonstrate the release of noradrenaline after the stimulation of sympathetic nerves.[2] In 2000, he was awarded the Buchanan Medal.
He was elected a member of the Academia Europaea in 1989.[3]
