Yeji (singer)
Hwang Ye-ji (Korean: 황예지; born May 26, 2000), known mononymously as Yeji (Korean: 예지), is a South Korean singer and dancer. She is the leader of the South Korean girl group Itzy, formed by JYP Entertainment in 2019.

Early Life
changeYeji was born on May 26, 2000 in Seoul, South Korea. She was raised in Jeonju, and later moved to Seoul to pursue her dancing and singing career.
Career
change2013–2018: Pre-debut
changeIn 2016, Yeji successfully passed her audition to join JYPE by performing Twice's debut hit "Like Ooh-Ahh". In 2018, she participated in the SBS reality competition series The Fan, where she was referred to as "JYP’s Secret Weapon".
On January 20th, 2019, she was revealed to be the leader of Itzy.
2019–present: Itzy
changeYeji officially debuted with Itzy in February 2019 with the release of the music video for Dalla Dalla and single album It'z Different.[1]
