Ylivieska is a town in Northern Ostrobothnia, Finland. As of 31 December 2023, 15,369 people lived there. Neighbouring municipalities are Alavieska, Haapavesi, Kalajoki, Nivala, Oulainen, Merijärvi and Sievi.
It was founded in 1867.
