Zoriana Skaletska

Minister of Healthcare of Ukraine since 2019

Zoriana Stepanivna Skaletska (Ukrainian: Зоряна Степанівна Скалецька, née Chernenko (Черненко); born 9 August 1980)[1] is a Ukrainian lawyer, activist and politician and former Minister of Healthcare of Ukraine.

Skaletska graduated from the National University of Kyiv-Mohyla Academy (2002). She studied at the Maria Curie-Skłodowska University (2002–2006). Doctor of Law.[1]

On 29 August 2019, Skaletska was appointed as the Minister of Healthcare of Ukraine in the Honcharuk Government.[2]

Career

Since 2006 he has been working at the National University of Kyiv-Mohyla Academy, first at the Department of International Law and Special Legal Sciences, later at the Department of International and European Law. Since 2014 - Associate Professor, since 2015 - Deputy Dean of the Faculty of Law.

From August 29, 2019 to March 4, 2020 - Minister of Health of Ukraine.

On February 21, 2020, she arrived in the village of Novi Sanzhary, where she spent 14 days in quarantine with evacuees from China.[3][4][5]

On 4 March 2020 the Honcharuk Government was replaced by the Shmyhal Government in which Illia Yemets replaced Skaletska as Minister of Healthcare.[6]
