The 1968 National Convention of the Republican Party of the United States was an event held in the Miami Beach Convention Center in Miami Beach, Dade County, Florida, from August 5 to 8, 1968. It was held to choose who would be the Republican Party's candidates for the 1968 United States presidential election. Richard Nixon was chosen for president, and Spiro Agnew was chosen for vice president.
