AhmadiPedia was launched on 2 July 2021 by Hazrat Mirza Masroor Ahmad, who is the fifth international head of the Ahmadiyya Muslim Jamaat.[4]

According to the person in charge at ARC, "they felt a need to make a place where Ahmadis and even non-Ahmadis could find information about the Ahmadiyya Muslim Jamaat." So, they launched AhmadiPedia.[1]
