Air Berlin

Air Berlin was the second biggest airline in Germany. It was started in 1978. The first flight was in 1979.[1] It became a low-cost carrier in 2002.[2] It joined Oneworld in 2012.[3] On 15 August 2017 Air Berlin stated it was filing for insolvency[4] and on 9 October 2017 announced the end of its own operations by 28 October 2017.
