Albert B. Lewis

American lawyer, accountant, and politician

Albert Benjamin Lewis (October 16, 1925 – August 7, 2021) was an American lawyer, accountant and politician. Lewis was a Democratic member of the New York State Senate from 1967 to 1978. He was also the State Superintendent of Insurance from 1978 until 1983.[1] He was born in New York City.

Lewis died on August 7, 2021 from problems caused by Alzheimer's disease in New York City at the age of 95.[2]
