Alfred "Uganda" Roberts
American musician
Alfred "Uganda" Roberts (April 8, 1943 – May 5, 2020) was an American conga-percussion player. She was born in New Orleans, Louisiana. As a young musician he performed with Professor Longhair.[1] He would continue to work with until Longhair's death. He also performed with Dr. John.
Roberts died in New Orleans on May 5, 2020 of lung cancer, aged 77.[2]
