Allan Burns

American television producer (1935-2021)

Allan Burns (May 18, 1935 – January 30, 2021) was an American screenwriter and television producer. He was best known for creating and writing for the television sitcom The Munsters, The Mary Tyler Moore Show and Rhoda. He won three Primetime Emmy Awards in 1968, 1971 and 1977 for comedic writing.
