Amuca tribe

The Amuca tribe (Turkish: Amuca Kabilesi) is one of the nomadic tribes of the Oghuz Turks who traces back to Gündüz Bey b.1361 son of Sehzade Halil. This was a group of people in the Ottoman Empire which moved from Anatolia to the Balkans. At the end of 14th century, this clan settled in Thrace. Today they live in Kırklareli Province. The first founded village of this tribe was Keşirlik, located in the Mahya Dağı.
