Argentinian composer

Amelia Cabeza de Pelayo Patterson, also known as Amy Patterson (16 July 1912 – 28 December 2019) was an Argentine composer, singer, poet, and teacher. She was known for writing the anthem of the Province of Salta.[1] She was very popular in Argentina, and much of her music received state approval from the Ministry of Education of Argentina.[2] She was born in San Miguel de Tucumán, Argentina.

She turned 100 in July 2012.[3] Patterson died on 28 December 2019 at the age of 107.[4][5]
