2021 stampede in Houston, Texas
On November 5, 2021, people were crushed by a large crowd of concertgoers during the first night of the Astroworld Festival, in Houston, Texas, United States. It was a music event hosted by Travis Scott.[1][2]

Eight people were killed in the crush on that night.[3] The cause of death still under investigation. Twenty-three were hospitalized and more than 300 people were treated for injuries at the festival's field hospital.[4] On November 10, another person died from their injuries.[5]
