Attilio Nicora
Catholic cardinal (1937–2017)
Attilio Nicora (March 16, 1937 – April 22, 2017) was an Italian cardinal of the Roman Catholic Church, Bishop of Verona Emeritus, and President Emeritus of the Administration of the Patrimony of the Apostolic See. He served as President of the four-person Executive Board of the Vatican's Financial Information Authority (FIA) from January 2011 until January 2014.

Pope Benedict XVI appointed Cardinal Nicora Pontifical Legate for the Basilica of St. Francis in Assisi. After being a cardinal-deacon for ten years, he was promoted to cardinal-priest by Pope Francis on 12 June 2014.[1]
