Bandwidth (company)
American communications provider
Bandwidth is a Communications Platform as a Service (CPaaS) company, founded in 1999 by David Morken and Henry Kaestner in 2001.[2] The company specializes in selling software application programming interfaces (APIs) for voice and messaging, leveraging their proprietary IP voice network. It went public in 2017 on the NASDAQ, raising $80 million in capital.[3][4] As of 2020, Bandwidth plans to relocate its headquarters in Raleigh, North Carolina, announcing plans to hire around 1,000 new employees.[5][6]
