Bernard Landry
Canadian politician (1937-2018)
Bernard Landry (French: [bɛʁnaʁ lɑ̃dʁi]; March 9, 1937 – November 6, 2018), was a Canadian lawyer, teacher, politician. He was the leader of the Parti Québécois (2001–2005) and was the 28th Premier of Quebec (2001–2003), and leader of the Opposition (2003–2005).[1] He was born in Saint-Jacques, Quebec.
Landry died on November 6, 2018 from complications of pulmonary fibrosis in Verchères near Montreal at the age of 81.[2][3]
