Bert Bosman

Dutch footballer (1945-2023)

Bert Bosman (1 July 1945 – 20 January 2023) was a Dutch footballer who played as a left winger.[1]

Bosman started his career with and VV Zwartemeer [nl]. After playing in the under-19 team he played with the main team in the Tweede Divisie.[1] He signed a professional contract with SC Drente [nl] in 1968. He played and scored among others at 1970–71 KNVB Cup. He played three seasons for the club until 1971. He moved back to VV Zwartemeer where he retired as a footballer in 1972.[2][1] After his playing career he was a football trainier until the 1990s for several amateur clubs.[3][4]

Bosman worked as a hairdresser in the 1960s and 1970s at “Jan Bosman” in Klazienaveen. He died in his hometown Emmen on 20 January 2023, at the age of 77.[2]
