Black Cat (Felicia Hardy) is an anti-superheroine from the Marvel Comics universe, appearing as a supporting character in the Spider-Man franchise and the main protagonist of her titular comics. She was created by Marv Wolfman and the late Dave Cockrum, and first appeared in The Amazing Spider-Man #194 in July of 1979. She occasionally acts as a love interest, enemy and ally to Spider-Man.

She is a professional cat burglar who often runs into Spider-Man, but sometimes acts as an ally in certain situations. Despite her villainous side, Black Cat has worked with other superheroes to stop threats and supervillains. She is also among the most well-known love interests of Spider-Man, alongside Mary-Jane Watson and Gwen Stacy.

Since her original introduction in comics, the character has been featured in various other Marvel-licensed products, including video games, animated television series, and merchandise. She is played by Felicity Jones in the 2014 movie The Amazing Spider-Man 2.
