Bob Kerrey

American politician and U.S. Navy Medal of Honor recipient

Joseph Robert "Bob" Kerrey (born August 27, 1943) is an American politician. He served as the 35th Governor of Nebraska from 1983 to 1987 and as a United States Senator from Nebraska from 1989 to 2001.[1] He was a member of the Democratic Party. He ran for President in 1992. He was also awarded the medal of honor for his courageous actions while a part of SEAL team 1 in Vietnam.
