Bouaké

city in Côte d'Ivoire, located in the central part of the country, about 350 kilometres (220 mi) north of Abidjan

Bouaké (or Bwake) is the second-largest city in Ivory Coast. It is in the central part of Ivory Coast about 50 km (31 mi) northeast of Lake Kossou, the country's largest lake. It has 536,189 people.
