Brooks Brothers is one of the oldest clothing stores in America. It produces clothing for men, women, and children. The company was founded in 1818. It is known for classic and formal luxury clothing such as suits, Oxford shirts and overcoats.[2] The style of Brooks Brothers has been called the Madison Avenue approach, the Ivy League style or the "Brooks Brothers Look.”[3] The company is historically significant. Many American presidents and celebrities have worn Brooks Brothers clothing.[4]
