Bucky Pizzarelli

American Jazz guitarist

John Paul "Bucky" Pizzarelli (January 9, 1926 – April 1, 2020) was an American jazz guitarist. He was born in Paterson, New Jersey. He worked for NBC as a staffman for Dick Cavett (1971) and ABC with Bobby Rosengarden in (1952). He also worked for Benny Goodman, Joe Negri, Les Paul, and Stéphane Grappelli.[1][2] In 2011, he was honored in the New Jersey Hall of Fame.

Pizzarelli died on April 1, 2020 in Saddle River, New Jersey of COVID-19 at the age of 94.[3]
