Carl von Gontard
German architect (1731-1791)
Carl von Gontard (January 13, 1731 in Mannheim – September 23, 1791 in Breslau) was a German architect; he worked primarily in the German cities Berlin, Potsdam, and Bayreuth.
He modified the original Deutscher Dom and Französischer Dom cathedrals in Berlin and added the domed towers.[1]
