Cauby Peixoto
Brazilian singer
Cauby Peixoto (10 February 1931 – 15 May 2016) was a Brazilian singer,[1] and actor. His career lasted from the late 1940s until his death in 2016. He is known for his deep voice and hairstyles. His genres include jazz and soft rock.[2]

Peixoto was known for his album "Maxximum". He also appeared in movies. He was known for his appearance as a singer in the movie Com Água na.
He had a brief career in the United States in the 1950s, where he presented under the pseudonyms Ron Coby or Coby Dijon.
Peixoto was born in Niterói, Rio de Janeiro. He studied at a Salesian school in Niteroi. Peixoto died in São Paulo, São Paulo from pneumonia on 15 May 2016, aged 85.[3]
Cauby was named by Time and Life magazines as the Brazilian Elvis Presley.[4]
