Cecilia Fusco
Italian singer (1933–2020)
Cecilia Fusco (10 June 1933 – 26 November 2020) was an Italian operatic soprano and voice teacher. She appeared many times at La Scala in Milan. She was born in Rome.
In a career to the end of the 1970s, she appeared at many Italian and foreign opera houses, including La Fenice in Venice, the Teatro Comunale di Bologna, the Teatro Lirico Giuseppe Verdi, the Teatro di San Carlo in Naples, the Teatro Massimo Vittorio Emanuele of Palermo, the Teatro Massimo Bellini of Catania, the Teatro Regio di Parma, the Teatro della Pergola of Florence, the Teatro dell'Opera di Roma, the Teatro Petruzzelli in Bari.
Fusco died on 26 November 2020 in Rome from COVID-19, aged 87.[1]
