American country singer (1932–1995)

Charles Allan Rich was an American country music singer, songwriter, and musician.[1] 1960 was the first time he had a song on Billboard Hot 100 music chart.[2]

Rich was born and raised in Arkansas, United States, to rural cotton farmers.[3] He attended Consolidated High School in Forrest City.[4]

He died on July 25, 1995.

Charlie died July 25, 1973 at a motel in southeastern Louisiana city, while travelling to Florida with his wife.[9]
