Comfort women

Military sexual slavery system designed and implemented by the Japanese military from early 1930s until the end of World War II, or the victims who were forced into sexual slavery by the Japaense military

Comfort women were women and girls forced into sexual slavery. They were forced by the Imperial Japanese Army in occupied territories before and during World War II. Estimates of the number of these "comfort women" range up to 20,000 while two-fifths of them were Japanese.[1] Some Chinese scholars claim it to be as much as 410,000.
