Catholic bishop (1916-2020)
Damián Iguacén Borau (12 February 1916 – 24 November 2020) was a Spanish Bishop of the Roman Catholic Church. When he died he was the oldest Catholic bishop in the world.

Iguacén Borau was born in Fuencalderas, Spain. He was ordained a priest on June 7, 1941. He was the bishop of the Barbastro Diocese since October 11, 1970. Later, he was made Diocese of Teruel and Albarracín on September 23, 1974 and then to Diocese of Tenerife on August 14, 1984 where he remained until his retirement on June 12, 1991.
Iguacén Borau turned 100 in February 2016.[1]
Iguacén Borau died on 24 November 2020 from pneumonia caused by COVID-19 in Huesca, Spain at the age of 104.[2]
