Damian Wayne is a fictional superhero. He appears in American comic books published by DC Comics, commonly in association with the superhero Batman. The idea of the character was created by Mike W. Barr and Jerry Bingham in Batman: Son of the Demon (1987). The character was named Damian Wayne and was developed by Grant Morrison and Andy Kubert. He first appeared in Batman #655 (2006). He is known for being the fifth incarnation of Robin and has been a member of the Batman Family, Batman Incorporated, the League of Assassins and the Teen Titans.

He is the son of Batman and Talia al Ghul and the grandson of Ra's al Ghul. Damian was born during Son of the Demon as Ibn al Xu'ffasch. He was kept secret until the events of Batman and Son. During Batman Reborn, he became the fifth Robin.

He was trained from a young age by the League of Assassins, Damian is an exceptional hand-to-hand combatant. He has mastered various martial arts styles, making him a highly skilled fighter. He has been trained in stealth techniques and infiltration, using these skills effectively in his crime-fighting activities. Damian is proficient with various weapons, including firearms and thrown weapons, although he primarily relies on melee combat. He is particularly skilled in sword fighting, often utilizing a katana in combat. His training gives him heightened reflexes and agility, allowing him to react quickly in battle. Like his father, Damian possesses a sharp mind for strategy and tactics, often planning several steps ahead in a confrontation. As a member of the Al Ghul family, he has a longer lifespan and greater resilience than an average human, largely attributed to the Lazarus Pits used by his mother and grandfather. Damian appears in the 2023 Christmas-themed animated movie, Merry Little Batman, voiced by Yonas Kibreab; and will return in the upcoming TV series, Bat-Family, with Kibreab reprising his role. Damian Wayne is set to make his live-action debut in the movie The Brave and the Bold, produced by DC Studios.
