Darcy Richardson

American historian and writer

Darcy G. Richardson (born December 6, 1955) is an American author, historian and political activist. He was a candidate for the Peace and Freedom Party's presidential nomination in the 2020 elections.

In the 2012 presidential election, Richardson ran against incumbent Barack Obama for the Democratic nomination for president of the United States in five state primaries.

On June 22, 2018, Richardson became the Reform Party of Florida's nominee for governor,[1] later choosing Nancy Argenziano as his running mate.[2]

On July 15, 2019, Richardson filed with the FEC to run for the Reform Party Nomination in 2020.[3][4] He suspended his campaign in September 2019. He later became the Vice Presidential nominee for the Alliance Party ticket alongside Rocky De La Fuente.
