Darius III
last king of the Achaemenid Empire (r. 336–330 BC)
Darius III (c. 380 – July 330 BC) was first named Artashata. He was called Codomannus by the Greeks.[1] Darius III was the last Persian Shah (king) of the Persian Achaemenid Empire of Persia.[2] He ruled from 336 BC to 330 BC. Artashata took Darius as his dynastic name.[1]
