Sir David Roxbee Cox FRS FBA FRSE (15 July 1924 – 18 January 2022) was a British statistician.

Her best known works were creating or expanding, Logistic Regression,^[1] the proportional hazards model,^[2] and the Cox process, which was named after him.

Cox died on 18 January 2022, at the age of 97.^[3]
