Dick Clair
actor, comedian, writer (1931-1988)
Dick Clair (November 12, 1931 – December 12, 1988) was an American television producer, actor and television and movie writer. He was born in San Francisco, California. He was best known for the television sitcoms It's a Living, The Facts of Life, and Mama's Family.
He won three Emmy Award for his writings on The Carol Burnett Show (1974, 1975, 1978).
Clair died of AIDS in Los Angeles on December 12, 1988, aged 57.[1] His body is chronologically frozen.[2]
