Dineshwar Sharma

Dineshwar Sharma, (born 1952) is an Indian politician. He is a retired Indian Police Service (IPS) officer.[1] He was the chief of the Indian Intelligence Bureau,[2] that is the Director of Intelligence Bureau which is the highest-ranked post in the Indian Police Service (IPS).[3]

He also was an interlocutor to the government of India for the state of Jammu and Kashmir.[4] In November 2019, he became the 34th Administrator of Lakshadweep.[5]
