Donald Moffat

British actor (1930-2018)

Donald Moffat (26 December 1930 - 20 December 2018) was an English-American actor. He was born in Plymouth, Devon.[1] Moffat trained at the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art in London.[2] His best known roles as Lyndon B. Johnson in The Right Stuff (1983), the corrupt U.S. President in Clear and Present Danger, as well as Garry, the station commander in The Thing.

Moffat died on 20 December 2018 in Sleepy Hollow, New York from complications of a stroke, six days before his 88th birthday.[3]
