Dot-winged antwren

The dot-winged antwren (Microrhopias quixensis), also known as the velvety antwren, is a passerine bird in the antbird family. It is found in tropical Central and South America from southeastern Mexico south to western Ecuador, northern Bolivia and central Brazil.[1] The male dot-winged antwren is blackish, while the female has brownish underparts.[2] It is the only member of the genus Microrhopias.
