Doug Bereuter
American politician
Douglas Kent Bereuter (born October 6, 1939) is an American retired politician. He was in the United States House of Representatives from 1979 until 2004. He also was the president and CEO of The Asia Foundation from 2004 to 2011. He is a member of the ReFormers Caucus at Issue One.[1] Bereuter is a member of the Republican Party.

Bereuter was known for voting to support the Iraq War and later saying it was a mistake and a failure.[2]
