Dr. Zippora Agatha Okoth

Dr. Zippora Agatha Okoth alias Zippy Okoth is a Kenyan Lecturer of film, French African Young Leaders Program Laurette and an award-winning filmmaker[1]. She is the founder of the Lake International PanAfrican Film Festival (LIPFF). She has served as a member of the Kenya Film Policy task force, the Kenya Cultural Centre Act task force and as an Executive Committee member of the Kenya National Music and Cultural Festival under the Ministry of Sports and Heritage. She is the top Judge for the Ms President Reality TV Show on KTN HOME-Kenya and has served as a Jury in various Film and Theatre Festivals in Eastern Africa[2][3].
Early Life and education
changeZippy grew up in Rabuor in Homabay County. She has a PhD in Theatre Arts (Kenyatta University), a Master of Arts in Gender Development (University of Nairobi), and a Bachelor of Arts in Communication and Media. Earlier, she went to Sango Primary School and later joined Asumbi Girls[4][5].
Marriage and Children
