Dutch Cross of Resistance

The Verzetskruis 1940–1945 (Dutch: Cross of Resistance 1940–1945) is the second highest military medal in the Netherlands given for bravery. It was awarded to members of the Dutch resistance. They were civilians who fought the Nazi occupation of their country during the Second World War.
